Renault describes the Trafic Combi as a high-roof station wagon for everyday use. The car is the largest van in the Renault repertoire and still comes with dimensions similar to a compact car, which can also be maneuvered through the city.

With the addition of the Combi, the Trafic becomes a family car. From the outside, the car retains its edgy look, while a back seat is being introduced inside. Then the car with a three-seater bench seat in the driver's cabin can carry a total of six passengers.

Combi, van or platform frame?
Three variants are available for the Trafic: panel van, crew cab or platform chassis. The Combi represents the double cabin variant. Then there are one or two rear seats in the box, on each of which three additional passengers can sit.

Despite these extra seats, the car still has some trunk space. Depending on the configuration, the car is 4.9 to 5.4 meters long and can therefore almost still be counted in the station wagon class.

The diesel engines
120, 146 or 170 hp? 165 or 179 km/h? The main difference between the diesels in the Trafic Combi is their performance. In terms of consumption and CO2 emissions, they are pretty much on the same level.
