It is available with two battery sizes and, according to the manufacturer, has a range of up to 470 kilometers, depending on the version.
When it comes to the motorisation itself, Renault initially keeps its feet on the ground and is limited to a motor for the front axle, which produces 130 hp in the basic model and 218 hp in the tested top version . And with that, driving pleasure is not neglected. Analogous to VW, the speed limit is 160 km/h. But first, the electric Mégane manages to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. And secondly, it doesn't run out of air beyond 120 km/h, but the vigor lasts at full throttle until the electronics pulls the plug on it. The Frenchman manages to overtake from 60 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The measurement at higher speeds (80 to 120 km/h) is also quickly completed in 4.4 seconds.
