The Peugeot 5008 does look good and makes an impression as soon as you see it. Only Peugeot offers the i-Cockpit in its models where the instruments are positioned high and the small steering wheel is low.
In addition to plenty of space for passengers and luggage, the large Peugeot SUV offers frugal engines that deliver 177 hp at best and offer pleasant driving comfort.
Even the access to the two seats in the third row requires flexibility and then the headroom and legroom become tight. But whatever? If you have opted for the two jump seats, six people can ride with the driver. When they are not in use, they are folded up in the trunk floor or, since they only weigh eleven kilograms each, they can also be easily removed. Just like a folding passenger seat backrest, not every SUV in this class offers this. Compared to the competition, the 5008 does really well at the back. The Renault Koleos sinks only 498 to 1,706 litres, the DS 7 Crossback 555 to 1,750 litres and the Skoda Kodiaq 650 to 2,065 litres in the trunk. You don't have to complain about the payload and the trailer load, which is only low in the case of the PureTech 130 with 8-Speed Automatic transmission at 950 kilos.
