The plug-in hybrid drive system of the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV combines a high-compression 2.5-liter Skyactiv G in-line four-cylinder petrol engine with 141 kW/191 hp with a 129 kW/175 hp electric motor and a 355-volt -Battery that has a capacity of 17.8 kWh. The system output of 241 kW/327 hp and the lush maximum system torque of 500 Nm make the new Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV the most powerful road vehicle Mazda has ever built. The vehicle accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds and has a locked top speed of 200 km/h.
At the same time, the new crossover offers excellent environmental properties - especially when it is driven purely electrically. In this way, 63 kilometers (according to WLTP) can be covered with zero local emissions and almost silently, the top speed in purely electric drive mode is an impressive 140 km/h.
On an 11 kW AC wall box, the battery can be charged from zero to 100 percent in around 2.5 hours using the two-phase on-board AC charger with a maximum charging capacity of 7.2 kW. The fuel consumption in the combined WLTP cycle is 1.5 litres per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 33 g/km, the WLTP power consumption is 23.0 kWh per 100 kilometers.
Optionally with all-wheel drive
The impressive stature of the Mazda CX-60 combines the elegance of the Kodo design with the robustness of a distinctive crossover architecture with a longitudinally mounted front engine and rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Inside, different materials and surfaces, including maple wood, nappa leather, Japanese textiles, chrome accents and particularly detailed seams on the instrument panel, combine to create a unique, Japanese-influenced ambience.
Driver recognized at a glance
One example of the latest technology is the new Driver Personalization System: it uses a camera to recognize who is in the driver's seat and automatically adjusts the surroundings - seat position, steering wheel, mirrors, head-up display and even the sound and climate settings body type and personal preferences. The mobile phone can now be connected wirelessly to Apple CarPlayâ„¢ or Android Autoâ„¢ and the functions can now be operated even more easily via the Multi Commander, voice control or touchscreen (when the vehicle is stationary) on the central 12.3-inch infotainment display.
Driving assistants for maximum safety
The comprehensive range of advanced i-Activsense driver support systems guarantees active safety at the highest level. Several new technologies make their debut in the Mazda CX-60: See-Through View – a next-generation 360° monitor that expands the field of view at low speeds; a hill descent assistant (HDC), which supports safe downhill driving on steep slopes with slippery or rough road surfaces, an adaptive cruise control system (MRCC), which can now also adopt speed limits from traffic sign recognition (i-ACC), an exit warning for road users approaching from behind ( BSM Vehicle Exit Warning) and an extended traffic jam assistance function (CTS), which now also offers a steering function up to 150 km/h in addition to braking and accelerating.
Depending on the equipment, other i-Activsense systems include: an emergency brake assistant (SBS) with pedestrian and cyclist detection as well as an intersection function, a rear emergency brake assistant (SBS-R) with pedestrian detection, a parking assistant (RCTA), a lane departure warning system with steering assistance (ELK), Lane Change Assist (BSM) with steering intervention, Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) and Attention Assist (DM).
6 year new vehicle warranty
Mazda offers an above-average six-year new vehicle warranty for all new vehicles. The Mazda 6-year new vehicle warranty, which is limited to a total mileage of up to 150,000 km, is a manufacturer's warranty and covers the repair or replacement of the affected part in the event of a material or manufacturing defect. Excluded from this are wearing parts.
